I wanted to say thank you for the words of encouragement in the e-mail below. We agree with everything that you said below and continue to believe God, that if it is His will, that we will one day bare children. Right now, He has clearly called us to adopt and that is where we are right now. We have not given up on having a natural child but He has said not right now…I have something greater for you…much greater for you! We do not want people to think that adoption is the “solution” to this “setback” that we are experiencing right now, it is a choice that we have made. When we begin to pray about starting a family, we NEVER prayed to be pregnant, we prayed that God would grow our family as He saw fit for us. Right now, adoption is the answer. Ken and I are VERY happy with how God has chosen to grow our family and look forward to the miracles that He will work in our lives, because we know that there are many to come. We feel honored to be chosen for this task of adoption, because everybody is not called to do it. It is an honor because it mirrors the love that Christ has for us as He allows us each to be adopted into his GLORIOUS family if we make the decision to do so…we all know what a blessing that is. So, please keep us in prayer and that we can remain obedient to what God has called us to do. We love and we thank you for your continued prayer and support!
Enough about that. On to Baby C room updates. Above are pictures of the nursery still in progress. The crib has been put togther and the bedding added. There are still some things that need to be done, but the room is on its' way. And the FCH means nothing...we will replace it with baby c's initials.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Your email and the room!
I love the room! And your e-mail sounded like a great response. Your words were amazing and a great testimony to God's working in your own life. I'm excited to hear how God continues to work and bring your precious child to you!!
On a more humorous note, I had to laugh because someone had asked us if we weren't trying anymore and I knew what they meant, but it was kind of like, to NOT be trying would be to NOT be.... well you know. :)
Thanks for reading my blog...I am now going to keep up with your journey to motherhood! How awesome!!
The room is absolutely adorable! If they had that bedding available when I was doing Eli's room...I would have bought it! Love it! :)
God bless! -Jess
So fun!!! It looks GREAT!!!! I know you can't wait to have your baby in there!!! I remember when we had the room ready and "waiting", and DAILY I would pass by the room....and LONG for the day when my baby would be making noises from that room....or that I'd be able to see my baby resting peacefully in there!!! I eventually had to shut the door for my sanity! But, then, in God's perfect timing, we had TWO babies in that room! : ) I know you know this, but praying for your baby - can't wait till you get that phone call!!!!
I am just delighted to see how your road to motherhood is coming along! Baby C's room is beautiful. (It's really funny to write that to you, because we always called our little one Baby C before he was born and we knew he was Sam.)
You & Ken are going to be fantastic parents!
The room is great! Very cheery. In regards to your friend with the email. It's funny I kind of went through the same thing with a family member. Basically what prompted us to adppt was when we realized that we wanted to be parents more than we wanted to be pregnant, and God really led us this way. The desire was fulfilled not pacified for us. God fulfilled a void in both me and my husband, he fullfiled the desires of our heart in a different way. I said all that to say, as long as you know that this is the way you are bing directed and this is what's best and what works for your family, stay encouraged.
